Where have I been? Wow - months since a post to the blog.
Well, I have been working on two other writing projects and doing a lot of stuff at work that has kept me from being able to give much time to the website. Have no fear… I am back. Podcast will be coming back too, in a new format.
Here is a quick snapshot of what I have been reading:
America Alone: The End of the World as We Know It by Mark Steyn. This is a great book for understanding the neocon movement but with a twist: it focuses on demographics and Islam. This guy is a very serious and entertaining writer.
Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die by Chip and Dan Heath. What makes some ideas “stick” in our minds and others be forgetful? This book gets at the heart of that question.
Simply Christian: Why Christianity Makes Sense by N.T. Wright. Kind of an updated and easier to read version of “Mere Christianity.” This one could become a classic.
See you back here soon.
