Giving

In a report in “The Chronicle of Philanthropy” (November 9th, 2006, page 27) a study reveals that of 100,000 Protestant congregations surveyed, giving by church members to support religious missions, education, and social services was 0.38%.

That means that not even one percent of income is directed to missions. The number does not break out how much of that is directed to missions, but I can imagine that it is a very small amount.
