YAAA (Yet Another Article on Atheism) has now shown up on the cover of Time. As I have been following this trend, I thought I should make mention of it.
I will give this article credit for something not emphasized in the Wired article from last week. This time, the author makes the case that atheism is resurgent in part because of new scientific discovery:
Brain imaging illustrates — in color — the physical seat of the will and the passions, challenging the religious concept of a soul independent of glands and gristle. Brain chemists track imbalances that could account for the ecstatic states of visionary saints or, some suggest, of Jesus.
Well, it’s a great attempt but, doesn’t this work in favor of the OPPOSITE argument? It seems to me that the more we know, the less we understand the more amazed we are at the work of the Creator.Â
The bulk of the article covers a debate between Dawkin and Francis Collins, a Christian scientist who is the Director of the National Human Genome Research Institute. Collins is a theistic evolutionist.

What has this comment got to do with the post on Atheism? I am guessing that you are only trying to get some attention for your website. But, in the spirit of open communication… I approved the comment.
